Summary
2025年4月、ブルキナファソ保健省 the Burkina Faso Ministry of Health が国内初のジカウイルス感染例 the first confirmed case of Zika virus in the country を報告した。
2025年4月17日、保健省 the Burkina Faso Ministry of Health (MOH) から、Ziniaré town, Central Plateau region におけるジカウイルス感染例 one confirmed case and no deaths of Zika virus が報告された。6歳女児の患者で、当初デング熱が疑われ an initial suspicion of dengue fever、地域医療センター小児科 the Ziniaré Regional Hospital Center (CHP) pediatric department に紹介された。Ziniaré CHR におけるデング熱迅速検査は陰性であり、その後の検査 Subsequent testing at the National Reference Laboratory for Viral Hemorrhagic Fever (NRL-FHV) in Bobo-Dioulasso でジカウイルス the presence of Zika virus by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) が確認された。
患児には発症日である4月4日までの15日以内の海外渡航歴はなかった。治療の後、退院した。
This is the first case of Zika virus reported in Burkina Faso.
