Summary
2001年以降、インド国内でニパウイルスによるアウトブレイクが繰り返されており、致死率は70％を超える。冬季に、コウモリ Pteropus bats によって汚染されたデーツヤシ樹液、フルーツ、その他の食品の汚染を通じて感染 zoonotic spillover することが多いが、医療現場でのヒト－ヒト感染も新たな脅威となっている。

・2026年1月11日、2例のニパウイルス感染が疑われる症例が the Virus Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL) of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Kalyani, West Bengal, India で確定診断されたとする保健当局者の話が伝えられている。
・感染したのはいずれも Barasat, the district headquarters of North 24 Parganas の同じ病院に勤務する看護師で、現在入院中であり、1人は集中治療室に収容されている。
・看護師のうちの1名は a resident of Nadia district、もう1名は a resident of East Burdwan district の住民であるが、発症前に両名とも Purba Bardhaman for personal work を訪れていた。outside West Bengal recently の渡航歴はない。

NIID surveillance, Japan によると、日本国内で2022年から2025年までの4年間で1万3千例以上の梅毒患者が報告されており、2025年12月中旬の時点で1万3085例となっている。20－39歳の出会い系アプリ（78％が利用し患者らは平均より2.3倍多い性的バートナーを有する）がアウトブレイク発生の要因となっており、東京や大阪だけでなく地方にも拡がりを見せている。

・4年間に確認された国内の梅毒患者数 the number of confirmed syphilis cases が1万3千人を超えたことが、厚生労働省 Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare から明らかにされた。
・2013年には1000例を僅かに超える感染者数であったところが、2025年にはおよそ1万4千例に達し、過去10年間に国内患者が著しく増加した。
・2025年12月17日までに、国立感染症研究所 Japan's National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID) から 1万3 085 cases (after adding 185 in week 50) が報告された。東京都が 3264 cases (25% of the national total) ともっとも多く,次いで大阪府 (1637), 愛知県(818), 福岡県 (739), and 神奈川県 (728) の順に多い。
・20－60歳の男性の患者が約2/3を占める一方、女性の患者は20歳代に集中している。
・Among 20–39-year-olds の年齢層では、78% が dating apps を使用しており、感染例は平均 4.2人の性的パートナー sexual partners (2.3× the general population) を有していた。
・先天性梅毒 Congenital syphilis は a record 37 cases in 2023 を記録した。

・2025年、日本国内で191人がSFTSに感染したことが JIHS のデータ Preliminary data from the Japan Institute for Health Security で示されている。これまでの記録であった2023年に比べ50例以上多い。
・西日本を中心に32の都道府県で発生があり、高知 (15 cases), 静岡 (13 cases), 大分 (13 cases), 長崎 (12 cases), 佐賀 (11 cases), 熊本 (11 cases), and 兵庫 (10 cases) で確認されている。
・はじめて東日本でも北海道、茨城、栃木、神奈川で報告された。

中米とメキシコで新世界ウジバエ New World screwworm (NWS) のアウトブレイクが発生しており、ヒトと動物の感染が確認されている。現時点で米国内に NWS ハエは存在しない。ウジバエのウジに感染すると有痛性の創傷を生じ、治療が行われなければ組織に深刻な損傷が及ぶ。

鳥インフル、香川・東かがわ市の養鶏場で確認…今季国内１５例目
香川県東かがわ市の養鶏場で９日に見つかった高病原性鳥インフルエンザに感染した疑いのある鶏について、同県は１０日、遺伝子検査で高病原性ウイルス（Ｈ５亜型）が検出されたと発表した。国内の養鶏場での感染の確認は今季１５例目。
県は１０日午前９時から、この養鶏場で飼育する約２万４０００羽の殺処分を始めた。県職員約３００人が作業にあたり、１１日朝に完了する見込み。埋却などの防疫措置は１２日までかかる見通し。
