Summary
Ichthyotoxin poisoning は毒性のある魚を食べた際のトキシンによる疾患で、gar（魚の種類）などの卵によることが多く、耐熱性のトキシンにより食直後の数時間から嘔気、嘔吐、下痢、腹痛を生じる。通常は自然治癒するが、集中治療が必要となる場合もある。

クリミア・コンゴ出血熱ウイルス Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus (CCHFV) は、セネガルでは1960年代から、ダニと家畜を中心とする動物に常在感染しており、ヒトにもおいても最近の臨床例確認よりずっと以前に曝露があったことが、血清学的調査で示されている。従来は the 2022 Podor event のようなモーリタニアに近い北部地域からのアウトブレイクが報告されていたが、2023年以降は Kedougou and Tambacounda などの南東部でもヒトの感染例が確認されている。
