Epidemiological update
As of March 2026、カーボベルデ Cabo Verde から欧州内各国と英国、米国に帰国した旅行者の間で、1000例超の赤痢等の胃腸感染症 confirmed and possible cases of shigellosis and other gastrointestinal infections, including salmonellosis が報告されている。
感染源は特定されていないが food- and/or waterborne transmission が示唆されている。
The likelihood of new infections in travelers visiting the Santa Maria region in Cabo Verde remains moderate.
Epidemiological situation
Between September 2022 and March 2026 の期間に、766例の赤痢感染例 confirmed and possible shigellosis cases が 13か国と英米 EU/EEA countries, the UK, and the US から報告された。
