侵襲性髄膜炎菌感染症増加，2026年4月までに24例，死亡4例
Key findings
・ 24例の侵襲性髄膜炎菌感染症 invasive meningococcal disease cases, うち死亡例4例がベトナム保健省から報告されており，2025年同期に報告された14例と比べ71%の増加となっている。15歳未満が報告例の46%を占めている。
・ 最近の重症例のうち，Phu Quoc の11歳児が serogroup B meningococcal disease により死亡した。ワクチン未接種の生後7か月の乳児は，2週間の血液ろ過 continuous blood filtration により生存しているが，壊死による四肢切断を要した。
・ 症例には疫学的関連性がなく，複数の地域で散発しているが，保健省は4月13日に全国的アウトブレイクへの注意を呼びかけた。
・ Ca Mau Province では，3例の疑い例 suspected cases from Khanh An commune admitted between 07 and 09 Apr 2026 について検査が行われ，うち2例が確定診断（1例は陰性）された。確定例のうち1例が死亡した。
・ ベトナム国内の髄膜炎菌感染症の原因菌は A, B, C, and W が報告されている。
〇 鳥インフルエンザ，ヒト 中国
Summary
中国国内では2011年以降，1000例を超える複数の鳥インフルエンザウイルス avian influenza A subtypes (notably H5N1, H5N6, H7N9, and H9N2) によるヒトの感染例が報告されており，多くは感染のある家きんや生きた鳥を売る市場への曝露が関連している。
H9N2 などの低病原性鳥インフルエンザが中国国内の家きんの間に定着し，高病原性鳥インフルエンザと同時感染循環がおきている。

・ From 27 Mar to 09 Apr 2026，新たに2例のヒトの H9N2 鳥インフルエンザ感染例 cases of human infection with avian influenza A(H9N2) virus が WHO in the Western Pacific Region に報告された。
・ 1例目は広東省 Guangdong Province, China の5歳未満の男児で，気管支肺炎と重症肺炎のため入院となり，2月4日に検査で確定診断 laboratory-confirmed with influenza A(H9N2) された。生きた家きんとの接触は確認されていないが，養鶏場で働く家族による間接的曝露があった。2月12日，回復し退院した。
・ 2例目は広西省 Guangxi Province の持病のある63歳男性で，1月下旬に病気の家きんと接触した後，2月5日に発症し，同11日に確定診断 laboratory-confirmed with influenza A(H9N2) され，同17日に回復し退院した。
・ 2015年12月以降，合計 159 cases of A(H9N2), including two deaths (both with underlying conditions) が WHO in the Western Pacific Region に報告されている。
・ およそ 90% of A(H9N2) cases globally が中国で報告されているほか，カンボジア，ベトナム，インド，最近ではセネガルへの渡航に関係するイタリアの感染例が確認されている。
