・ アウトブレイクが始まったのは around early April 2026 で、26 Apr 2026 alone に15人の患者が現地医療機関を受診し、3人が受診後まもなく死亡した。
・ 報告されている症状は、激しい首の痛み、高熱、嘔吐、下痢、意識障害で、一部の患者が口から泡を吹き、多くの患者が発症から24時間以内に死亡したとされる。
