Key findings
・ コンゴ民主共和国 DRC で発生中の感染伝播に関連する，エボラウイルス輸入感染例 an imported Bundibugyo ebolavirus case が Kampala において保健省 Uganda’s Ministry of Health により確認され，国境でのサーベイランスなど a national response が発動された。
・ 59歳のコンゴ人男性 Congolese man が5月11日，呼吸困難，発熱，上腹部痛，嘔気，排尿困難の症状により Kibuli Muslim Hospital 病院に入院し，その後出血症状を併発し，同14日に ICU で死亡した。
・ 5月15日に DRC のエボラ疑い例報告を受け，採取されていたこの死亡患者の検体の検査を行った。
