オランダの市保健当局 The Municipal Health Service Kennemerland in the Netherlands が、ヨハネスブルグ発アムステルダム行きのフライト a KLM flight from Johannesburg to Amsterdam on April 25 の接触者追跡を行っている。
同機には、後に死亡したオランダ人女性が短時間搭乗 briefly boarded していた。この女性は体調が悪く12時間のフライトに耐えられないとして降機させられた。この女性の周辺（前後2列を含む）の座席に約50名が搭乗し、5人の客室乗務員にこの女性との “intensive contact” があったと確認している。
5月7日の時点で、同機の搭乗者のうち3名に症状がみられ、2名はハンタウイルス検査が陰性と確認され、3人目については解析が行われている。

英国では2人が自己隔離を行っており UK Health Security Agency が45 days of quarantine for exposed British passengers を推奨している。

More than 2 dozen passengers potentially exposed to hantavirus aboard a cruise ship disembarked almost 2 weeks ago, several sources confirmed to MedPage Today, and Americans who were among them are now back on US soil.
They say the passengers live in several states, including Arizona, California, Georgia, Texas, and Virginia.

Patient with hantavirus infection is receiving hospital treatment
