フランクフルト Frankfurt, Hesse ドイツ：Airport malaria cluster 輸入ハマダラカ imported *Anopheles* mosquito が関与、2026年7月
Key findings
・ フランクフルト空港 Frankfurt Airport, Germany の荷物取扱担当者 employees in the baggage handling department 4名の、マラリア malaria 感染が確認されたと 2026年7月16日に発表された。
・ 国際便により輸入されたハマダラカ an Anopheles mosquito による感染と、コッホ研究所 The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) はみているが、どのフライトであったかは報告時点で判っていない。
・ 4人の患者すべてについて、the Frankfurt public health department が調査を行っており、渡航者あるいは公衆衛生上のリスクの増加はないことが確認されている。
・ The RKI によると、これ以前にドイツ国内で case of airport malaria in Germany が確認されたのは 2023年でおなじく Frankfurt Airport であった。世界中では between 1969 and 2024 に 145 airport malaria cases が記録され、このうち9件がドイツの症例だった。

Key findings
・ the municipality of Gostivar, North Macedonia において急性胃腸炎の流行が発生したと、the Tetovo Public Health Center が正式に発表した。
・ 患者数は、2026年7月19日の1000例超から、同21日には入院患者が3100例以上と急増し、保健省 the Health Ministry は1日あたり200-300人の新規患者の受入を報告している。
・ the Institute of Public Health により、飲料水が糞便により汚染 fecal contamination of Gostivar's municipal drinking water supply され、高濃度の大腸菌群 extremely high concentrations of coliform bacteria と大腸菌 Escherichia coli の存在が確認され、ヒトまたは動物による汚染が考えられている。
・ 汚染経路として、夏季の水不足中の給水増加のため the public utility company "Vodovod" 社が、不衛生な地表水 an unhealthy surface-level source から引き込まれた給水システムをポンプにつないだことが原因と疑われている。
・ Gostivar (人口約8万人), located approximately 65 kilometres west of the capital Skopje（首都スコピエ）の上水道は使用不可 unusable とされ; 給水車の出動とボトルウォーターの配布を行っている。
