Outbreak overview
コンゴ民主共和国内の Haut-Uele, Ituri, Nord-Kivu (North Kivu), Sud-Kivu (South Kivu), and Tshopo provinces で感染が確認されており、the 17th outbreak of Ebola in DRC である。過去のアウトブレイクに比べ相当早く拡大し、過去3番目の大きさとなっている。
対応開始から40日間で1000例 confirmed cases を超えたが、the 2018 Ebola outbreak in North Kivu, DRC においては1000例に到達するまでに235日を要している。死者数も急増しており、7月第1週には100例以上の報告があった。
ウガンダの感染例はこれまでのところ全て首都 its capital of Kampala において診断されており、コミュニティでの感染拡大は報告されていない。ウガンダの最後の感染例が確認されたのは6月21日で、コンゴ民主共和国からの渡航に関連している。

26 July 2026、コンゴ民主共和国 the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) では合計 3200例のエボラ出血熱 confirmed cases, including 1405 related deaths (from data up until 25 July) が報告されている。773例が隔離入院中である。
7月25日の報告以降、新たに125例の感染 new confirmed cases and 51 deaths が報告された。
新たな125例が報告されたのは Ituri (115 cases), North Kivu (seven cases) and Haut Uele (three cases) である。
Ituri province が依然として the most affected, with 2 848 cases, including 1 184 deaths, reported from 28 of 36 health zones となっている。
North Kivu からは、306 cases, including 196 deaths, from 11 of 34 health zones が報告されている。
South Kivu では、three cases, including one death, from one of 34 health zones が報告されている。
Haut-Uele では、38 cases (including 20 deaths) from four of 13 health zones
Tshopo では、five cases (including four deaths) from three of 23 health zones が報告
Overall, 47 of 140 health zones are currently affected across the five provinces.
ウガンダにおいて7月17日までに、合計 20 confirmed cases, including two deaths が保健省 the Ministry of Health in Uganda から報告されている。最後の患者 The last confirmed case が報告されたのは6月21日で、それ以降新たな感染例は報告されていない。7月16日、the Mulago National Referral Isolation Centre で治療中であった、ウガンダ最後のエボラ出血熱患者が退院となり、Uganda's Ministry of Health はアウトブレイク終息を宣言するための42日間のカウントダウンを開始したと発表した。

COVID-19 activity, with 56 cases and six hospital admissions と、結核 tuberculosis (TB) および百日咳 pertussis についてもモニター継続について、保健省 the Ministry of Health and Human Services が報告した。
