Summary
フランス国内において、オマーンへの旅行者2名の、中東呼吸器症候群コロナウイルス輸入感染例 imported cases of Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) が確認された。2013年以来の確認となった。両名とも入院し状態は安定しており、二次感染例は確認されていない。

・2025年12月4日、フランス国内で2例の confirmed cases of MERS-CoV が確認された。
・2名の患者は最近、オマーンへの35名のグループ旅行から帰国し、現地でラクダ肉 dromedary meat を摂取していた。
・1例目が Lyon (Rhône) で確認され, 2例目は1例目との接触歴のある無症状の患者として Poitiers (Vienne) で確認されその後 Bordeaux (Gironde) に搬送されている。
・all 35 travelers and hospital contacts の中で、これまでのところ感染は確認されていない。

英国
Summary
2022年9月以降、EU および英国、米国において、アフリカ西海岸のカーボベルデ Cape Verde への団体旅行者らの間で、Shigella sonnei などによる赤痢の報告が続いている。2025年11月末までに、EU と英国から9月から11月の期間を中心に、同じ菌による渡航関連の感染例の増加が報告された。英国では137例の感染が報告されたが、うち109例がカーボベルデへの旅行者だった。遺伝子解析により、英国の感染例は同じ遺伝子を持つ単一の菌によるクラスター a single genetic cluster と判明し、the Santa Maria and Boa Vista areas の共通の感染源に曝露したことが示唆されており、カーボベルデの観光地では今も感染伝播が続いていることが示された。

・このうち 116 (85%) が最近の海外旅行 recent international travel を報告しており、109 (94%) がカーボベルデ Cape Verde, mainly to hotels in the Santa Maria area of Sal Island and Boa Vista を旅行していた。
・遺伝学的解析 Whole genome sequencing (WGS) により、すべての分離株 all UK isolates が同じ part of a single SNP (single nucleotide polymorphism)-defined cluster (HC5_181425) であり、共通の感染源に曝露し、カーボベルデの観光地に感染伝播がいまも存在していることを示唆している。

Summary
across Vancouver Island において赤痢患者が増加しており、多剤耐性菌によるクラスター clusters involving multidrug-resistant (MDR) Shigella flexneri 2a in the Cowichan and Central Island regions and extensively drug-resistant (XDR) S. sonnei on the South Island の発生が確認されている。
感染は主に住む場所がない人々で、MSM (men who have sex with men) 間での性感染から、ホームレス経験者の環境内での感染伝播に移行している。
