・ コスタリカ保健省 The Costa Rican Ministry of Health により 45例の疑似例 suspected cases と、うち4例の確定診断例 laboratory-confirmed および17例可能性例 probable が確認されている。
・ 検体の検査は the Costa Rican Institute for Research and Teaching in Nutrition and Health (INCIENSA) で行われた。both nationals and foreigners が検査を受けた。

・ のこる2例には渡航歴がなく、地域内感染 autochthonous (locally acquired) に分類されている。
・ From 2023 through 2025、死亡例1例を含む5例の成人と2例の小児の、好酸球性髄膜炎 eosinophilic meningitis を伴う住血線虫症感染例 neuroangiostrongyliasis cases が記録され、 地域内感染例と考えられている。

・ The RatEx project (UMR PIMIT) によると a prevalence of A. cantonensis of 12.5% in rats（ラット） and 18.5% in mollusks（軟体動物）sampled on the island, including Lissachatina immaculata, L. fulica, Parmarion martensi, and Tanychlamys indica.

・ 実施された 3666 tests のうち2636 were positive, yielding a test positivity rate of 72%.
・ 6月25日の報告以降、疑似例は from 3505 to 4117、確定診断例は from 2161 to 2636、死亡例は from 8 to 15 に増加した。
