DR Congo Ebola cases rise above 1700
コンゴ民主共和国のエボラ出血熱アウトブレイクについて、新たに147例が報告され合計患者数 confirmed infections が1708例、死亡例が74例増え580例となった。現在も680例が病院内で隔離または治療中で、新たな27例を含め280例が回復した。確認された接触者の 75.2%が追跡されている。
アウトブレイクは地理的にも拡大しており、Boga Health Zone が the latest affected area in Ituri, the epidemic's epicenter に加わり、the province's total to 25 affected health zones となった。North Kivu も引き続き across 11 health zones が強化サーベイランスの対象となっているが、South Kivu での確認は 3 confirmed cases and one death である
アウトブレイク全体の致死率は 34％となり、今回の原因である the Bundibugyo strain of Ebola にはワクチンや抗ウイルス薬はない no approved vaccine or specific antiviral treatmen

Key findings
・ Vanuatu's first National Summit on Border Security and Preparedness for Emerging Drug and HIV Threats が Port Vila on 07–08 Jul 2026 において開催された。
・ 合計 22例の HIV cases in Vanuatu since 2002 が登録されており、7例が AIDS に関連する原因で死亡し、2026年7月現在 15 active cases が残されている。
・ active cases の発生地域は、以下に集約されている Shefa Province/Efate (66%), Sanma Province/Santo (27%), and Tafea Province/Tanna (7%).
・ 異性間性交渉が大部分 the majority of active cases (73%), followed by men who have sex with men (13%), mother-to-child transmission (7%), and injecting drug use ( 7%).
・ バヌアツ国内初の注射薬物による感染例 its first-ever HIV case が明らかとなり、新たな感染経路が浮上した。

4233 of 12 733 students (approximately 33%) at Mahasarakham University and 380 of 1922 students (approximately 19%) at Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University tested positive.
・ 保健当局 Thailand's Department of Disease Control (DDC) は UAT/OV-ATK results は単なるスクリーニング検査であり、便検体による確定診断が必要であり、現時点で公式に診断された学生はいないと説明している。

・ 2026年7月6日までの6か月あまりの間に、13例のヒトの鳥インフルエンザ感染例 human infections with avian influenza A(H9N2) across mainland China が報告され、内訳は Guangdong (four cases), Guangxi (four), Yunnan (three), Jiangxi (one), and Sichuan (one) となっている。死亡例は報告されていない。
・ 最新の症例は a one-year-old girl in Guangdong Province（広東省）で発症日は 12 Jun 2026 であり、生きた鳥を売る市場に暴露していた。接触者の二次感染例は確認されていない。
・ 2015年以降、累積 170例 human H9N2 infections が報告され、うちいずれも持病のある2例の死亡が含まれる。

・ On 7 July 2026、200人以上の食中毒が疑われるアウトブレイクについて the Gabès Governorate 保健当局が報告した。
・ 個人宅での結婚披露宴の食事 food consumed during a wedding dinner held at a private residence in the Matwiya (Al-Mayda) area on the evening of 4 July 2026 が関係している。
・ tajine and salad が確認され、いずれも傷みやすい食材を使用することから原因食品の可能性が高く、卵を使った tajine が含まれていることから特にサルモネラ Salmonella 菌が疑われている。
・ 200人以上が発症したと報告されているが、死亡例は報告されていない。
