Pakistan reports fourth polio case of 2026 in southern KP; Government urges parents to vaccinate children in upcoming campaign

今年報告された4例のうち3例が、治安の問題で子供がワクチンを受けられない Bannu Division からの報告である。Bannu District, Bannu Division, in southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa において新たなポリオ感染例 a new polio case が The National Emergency Operations Center for Polio Eradication (NEOC) により確認され、今年のパキスタン国内の感染例数が4例となった。政府当局は、キャンペーン中 during the upcoming door-to-door campaign from 21 to 27 September にワクチンを受けさせるよう、保護者らに呼びかけている。
今年確認された4例のうち、3例が Bannu Division で、治安の問題で子供らが重要なワクチンを受けられないため、野生株ポリオウイルスの感染循環を許している地域である。安全かつ有効なポリオワクチンにより、パキスタンのポリオ患者は、1990年代前半の推定2万例から、2025年には31例と99.8%減少した。2026年はこれまでに4例の報告があり、ほぼ southern KP に限られている。全国的にはポリオウイルス感染の循環は減少したが、 southern KP では感染循環が続いている。患児は Nurar Union Council in Tehsil Miryan 在住で、2025年以降、治安の悪化によりワクチン接種チームが小児のもとに行くことができていない。

As of September 6, 2026, mainland France において15件のベクター感染症の地域内感染アウトブレイク outbreaks (+3 compared to the previous week) of locally acquired vector-borne disease transmission が確認されている :
• 11 outbreaks (+3 compared to the previous week) of chikungunya（チクングニア）totaling 57 cases (1 to 28 cases per outbreak) in the Tarn, Lot (Occitanie), Gironde (Nouvelle-Aquitaine), and Val-de-Marne (Île-de-France) departments
• 4 outbreaks (+0 compared to the previous week) of dengue （デング熱）totaling 6 cases (1 to 2 cases per outbreak) in the Tarn, Hérault (Occitanie), Dordogne (Nouvelle-Aquitaine), and Bouches-du-Rhône (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur) departments.
Imported Cases: From May 1st, the start of enhanced surveillance, until September 6th, 2026, the following cases were identified: • 136 imported cases of chikungunya • 389 imported cases of dengue fever • 13 imported cases of Zika
Local transmission episodes:
As of August 6, 2026, a total of 63 local cases of chikungunya and dengue, transmitted by Aedes albopictus mosquitoes, have been identified in metropolitan France:
• 57 cases of chikungunya distributed across 11 vector transmission episodes (1 to 28 cases per episode; two of these episodes are closed) (Table 1);
• 6 cases of dengue distributed across 4 vector transmission episodes (1 to 2 cases per episode; two of these episodes are closed)

アルファルファスプラウトが関係する、志賀毒素産生性大腸菌・サルモネラ感染症アウトブレイクとは別に調査されている。
合計22例が4つの州から報告されており、発症日は from July 7, 2026, to August 26, 2026 で、聞き取り調査を行った all 19 (100%) が sprouts を、さらに 17 (89%) が broccoli sprouts と特定して、摂取したと答えている。2例の入院例があり、死亡例はない。
