Case 9: テネリフェ島で下船後、フランスへの帰国便のフライト中に発症し、PCR 検査で確定診断。

Case 11: テネリフェ島で下船後、米国への帰国中。軽い症状と報告あり、PCR 検査中。
Case 12: テネリフェ島で下船後、（スペイン）マドリード Madrid 到着後に検査陽性。無症状。

Case 1: 成人男性。4月6日発症，同11日死亡。微生物学的検査未実施（ a probable case）。
Case 2: 成人女性，case１の濃厚接触者。南アで症状が悪化し死亡。確定診断。
Case 3: 成人男性，4月24日に発症・下船。 Ascension Island から医療搬送され現在ヨハネスブルグの病院の集中治療室において入院治療中。確定診断。
Case 4: 成人女性，4月28日に発症し5月2日に死亡。確定診断。.
Case 5: 成人男性，船医。発症し確定診断。5月6日にオランダに医療搬送。
Case 6: 成人男性，a ship guide。軽度の呼吸器および消化器症状を訴え確定診断。オランダへ医療搬送。
Case 7: 成人男性，セントヘレナ島で下船し，同27-28日に南アおよびカタール経由でスイスに帰国し，PCR検査で確定診断。
Case 8: 成人男性，Tristan da Cunha 島で下船。その後下痢、発熱あるも状態は安定。自己隔離中（a probable case）。

Case updates
・As of 08 May 2026、the WHO から6例の確定診断例 confirmed cases および8例の suspected cases,、うち3例が死亡 fatalities (a Dutch couple and a German national) を報告しており、致死率 a case fatality ratio of approximately 38% となっていた。
・ さらに、帰国した乗船客らの間で確認された新たな確定診断 new confirmed or provisional positive cases として、フランス人女性 (in ICU care), アメリカ人 (inconclusive/mild positive PCR, asymptomatic)、およびスペイン人 (provisional positive, asymptomatic, at Gomez Ulla Hospital, Madrid がいる。
・ 加えて、下船したアメリカ人で症状がある患者の1人が、Emory Medical Center に隔離され検査結果を待っている。
Other updates
・ 大規模な複数国への搬送 multinational evacuation は5月11日に完了し、少なくとも15か国への帰国または帰国準備が進行中で、各国の公衆衛生当局による隔離もしくは検疫が行われている。
・ 欧州では、ベルギー、ドイツ、アイルランド、モンテネグロ、オランダ、ポルトガル、スペイン、トルコに帰国。ほか、アルゼンチン、グアテマラ・インド・ウクライナ・フィリピンの船員の、空路オランダへの搬送が行われた。
The UK has repatriated all 23 British citizens (19 passengers, four crew). France has repatriated five passengers, all now in isolation after one became symptomatic in flight. Four Canadian passengers returned to Canada, where they must isolate for at least 21 days under provincial monitoring in British Columbia and 18 passengers returned to the US, to Nebraska and Georgia. A Japanese passenger is being monitored in the UK for up to 45 days and two Singapore residents have been repatriated and are isolating at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases for at least 30 days. Australian authorities have arranged a government?chartered flight to bring four Australian passengers and one New Zealander to Australia, where they will be managed under national public health protocols.
A reduced crew will now sail the MV Hondius back to the Netherlands, where the ship and remaining belongings will be disinfected, and the crew who complete the voyage are expected to undergo a six?week quarantine in the Netherlands before any onward travel, although detailed arrangements for all nationalities have not yet been fully specified publicly.
As a precautionary measure, Radboud University Medical Center, Netherlands, has placed 12 employees in six?week quarantine after blood and urine samples from an infected patient were initially handled under standard procedures instead of stricter protocols recommended for the virus.
