・12 May 2026 WHO and ECDC は 11例のアンデスウイルス感染例 Andes virus (ANDV) cases linked to the MV Hondius outbreak among passengers and crew を確認し、うち9例が確定診断例 laboratory-confirmed cases, 2例 probable cases であり、死亡は3例である。
・ 乗員、乗客、濃厚接触者以外の、2次感染例は確認されていない No confirmed secondary cases outside passengers, crew members, or identified close contacts have been reported.
米国
・ 16名の乗客 American cruise ship passengers が5月11日にネブラスカ大学 the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) に到着: 15 人は検疫 in the quarantine unit、ハンタウイルス検査で陽性となった1名は the biocontainment unit に収容。
・ さらに2名の American passengers がアトランタ州 Emory University Hospital in Atlanta に搬送: 1名は症状があり the biocontainment unit で治療中; もう1名は無症状でモニター中。この2人は夫婦。
・ Sunday（10日）'s repatriation flight の2例目の症状のあるアメリカ人乗船客は軽症で、症状のある2名とも both symptomatic U.S. passengers は biocontainment units に収容され他状態で搬送された。この2例目について12日実施された a repeat PCR test も陰性。
・ さらに、12 U.S. residents がモニター中: アウトブレイクが発表される前に下船した cruise ship passengers の7人はいずれも症状なし、航空機で感染患者に曝露したのは5人で、いずれも症状なし

Summary
2011年以降、中国国内で1000例以上の様々な種類の鳥インフルエンザ multiple avian influenza A subtypes (notably H5N1, H5N6, H7N9, and H9N2)によるヒトの感染例 human infections が報告されている。
多くの症例が、感染のある家きん、または生きたトリを売る市場との接触に関係している。
H9N2 などの低病原性鳥インフルエンザウイルスは現在、中国国内の家きんに常在し、高病原性ウイルスとともに感染循環しており、人獣感染症の溢出の機会が生まれるとともに、ウイルスが進化しパンデミックが発生する危険性も伴っている。

Key findings
・ 重慶市 Chongqing Municipality, China の55歳の女性が、2026年4月16日に体調を崩し、同23日に入院したが、5月3日に死亡した。その後、鳥インフルエンザ influenza A(H5N6) infection による重症肺炎と診断された。
・ 患者は発症前、家きんを購入して捌き、摂取していた。
・ 自宅のまな板でH5亜型インフルエンザAウイルスが検出された；接触者は全員陰性で症状は見られていない。
・ 2014年以降、西太平洋地域 WHO in the Western Pacific Region に報告された、ヒトの H5N6 型鳥インフルエンザ感染例 laboratory-confirmed human cases は93例となり、58例が死亡し、致死率 a case fatality rate (CFR) of 62.4% となっている。
・ 今回の事例で、ヒト－ヒト感染は確認されていない。
○ 麻疹 日本

Key findings
・ As of 30 Apr 2026 (Week 17)、日本国内で 436例の麻疹 cumulative measles cases for the year (preliminary figure) が報告され、4月27日までの1週間に新たに、今年の週あたりでは最多の68例の感染が報告された。
・ The Japan Institute for Health Security によるとおよそ 74% (322 cases) of the 436 cases が、海外から持ち込まれたウイルスに端を発する国内での感染伝播とみられる。
・ 2026年は累計 the 450 cases となり、2019年同時期を上回り、過去10年間でもっとも多い。
・ 2015年、日本は WHO に eliminated measles と認定されている。
・ 死亡例は報告されていない。
・ 地域別では東京 Tokyo with 211 cases (~48% of national total) and 首都圏 capital region >300 cases; 成人と若年成人 adult/young adult predominance (10-30 years) noted in media signals となっている。
○ ウイルス性髄膜炎 スリランカ
学生の間でエンテロウイルス髄膜炎とみられるクラスター Suspected enterovirus meningitis cluster が報告され、45－50例が報告されている。
Key findings
・ the Deniyaya Education Zone (Kotapola Medical Officer of Health area), Matara District, Sri Lanka において、ウイルス性髄膜炎クラスター A cluster of meningitis-associated viral illness が報告されており、2～3週間に45－50例の suspected cases が確認されている。
・ 47－48例が national surveillance authorities に報告され、このうち5例がエンテロウイルス髄膜炎 laboratory-confirmed cases of enteroviral meningitis by cerebrospinal fluid polymerase chain reaction testing（髄液のPCR検査）と診断されている。
・ ほとんどが school-aged children、特に14－15歳の年齢で、全例が Deniyaya Base Hospital で治療を受け、支持療法ののち6－7日で回復している。
・ 報告されている症状として、発熱、激しい頭痛、嘔吐、光線過敏、聴覚過敏、項部硬直などがある。
・ 現時点で発生地域は the Deniyaya area に限られ、他の地域 other parts of Matara District で同様のクラスターは報告されていない。
・ 本報告前に新規症例報告数は減少している。
